One Gear One Hundred - IV

  • Spoked Bike & Stuff 2716A Cherokee Street St. Louis, MO, 63118 United States (map)

The fourth annual One Gear One Hundred is here!!

What? One hundred miles on single speed bikes! This is a no drop ride, but riding a single speed for 100 miles isn't for the faint of heart. Ride your fixie or coast on that freewheel. It's all up to you.

We will break to refuel but you are responsible to carry your own snacks and water between stops.

Why? A single speed is the simplest type of bicycle. One gear, no shifters, derailleurs, and in some cases no cables. Plus, it's a challenge!

Where? We'll begin and end at the shop. This ride covers lots of beautiful MO and IL landscape. Only about 30 miles are in the city.

When? August 13th. We leave the shop at 8am sharp. Depending on stops and our pace, the ride should be around 8ish hours.

The route will be counter clockwise, heading west first.
