When it comes to bicycling, women account for only 24% of all trips made by bicycle. It doesn’t have to be this way. This class will provide a safe space for anyone who identifies as a woman to learn how to bicycle safely and with confidence. This course will be taught by women who have years of experience as full time bicycle commuters.
Molly Pearson is a League of American Bicyclists’ Certified Instructor, and has been bicycle commuting for nearly ten years. With professional experience in bicycling advocacy and an academic background in gender studies, she strives to make bicycling an accessible option for all.
Jordan Worthington is a recent transplant and full-time bike commuter who has worked with DC non-profits to host skill-sharing events, rides, and mechanic classes for women. She’s excited to bring her love of building inclusive cycling communities for women to St. Louis.
